Bollywood's Mr Perfectionist, Aamir Khan, is currently over the moon as his daughter, Ira Khan is all set to tie the knot with her longtime boyfriend Nupur Shikhare. As the day of their wedding date is coming closer, the excitement for the special day is escalating. Having gotten engaged last year in September, the couple will reportedly be getting married in a Maharashtrian-style wedding. Now, a video of their decked-up wedding venue has taken the internet by storm.
Paparazzo Viral Bhayani took to Instagram to share a video of the venue, leaving fans gushing about it. Decked in beautiful lighting, the venue and apartment have left everyone in awe. The wedding rituals have already begun and the bride-to-be has taken to her official social media handle to share glimpses of the same. It is being reported that after their wedding the couple is hosting a reception where whose who of Bollywood have been invited. Fans are eagerly waiting for the couple to share photos and videos from their big day. It was back in August, Ira had revealed her wedding date during an interview with ETimes. Talking about their plans to tie the knot on January 3, she had said, “We know that we want to get married on January 3, but which year... we haven’t decided on that. For those who don’t know, Nupur is a fitness coach, who has trained Bollywood celebrities like Sushmita Sen and Aamir Khan. On the other hand, Ira made her directorial debut in 2019 with the stage production ‘Euripides' Medea,’ an adaptation of Euripides' Greek tragedy Medea. Apart from this, she also launched Agastu Foundation, which aims to help and support people battling with mental health issues.
Ira is Aamir’s only daughter from his first wife, Reena Dutta. They also have a son, Junaid Khan. After his first divorce, Aamir got married again to Kiran Rao. The couple, who are now divorced, welcomed their son, Azad, through surrogacy in 2011.
